A farmhouse look was exactly what this small but forgiving kitchen needed. Inside a charming little brick house sat a dark and very outdated kitchen. Opting instead for Shaker style cabinetry in a faint stone grey gives a subtle contrast to warm-white walls. The old stove hood and soffit were replaced to accommodate for more storage and better use of space. Matte black hardware and painted black back door playfully catch the eye against the lighter colors. Concrete countertops and a white farmhouse sink tie it together for an industrial-rustic feel. The floor tile was removed to reveal the original hardwood creating a warming effect on the space.
